Sasha Salon and Spa has been in business since 1981 in Harvard Square. Our staff consists of highly skilled, fully licensed, friendly skin care specialists, nail technicians and massage therapist. Many of our staff members have been educated and trained in Europe. We have a tradition of continuing education and training to learn about new techniques and products to offer in our spa in Cambridge.

In our Boston day spa, located in Harvard Square, our focus is on what we can achieve with the latest and most effective technologies. The Intense Pulsed Light system ( IPL) uses AFT (Applied Fluorescence Technology). This is the only IPL system that uses this feature, which, unlike lasers, is much gentler on the skin and more effective when it comes to permanent hair reducion in Boston. It also allows us to offer very effective IPL photofacials for removing vascular lesions,pigmented lesions and improving elasticity of the skin. Another type of photofacial we perform is LED (Light Emiting Diodes) Light Lifting Treatment and Treatment for redness and uneven pigmentation. LED Light Lifting Treatment is the only application that combines Light therapy (LED), Micronized currents and HF Polarized currents provide greatly enhanced non-surgical face lift. A new treatment we offer is an Ultrasonic Facial for people who want to have their face very clean and do not like manual cleaning. Ultrasonic system can reach every surface of one's facial skin in a very short time, cleaning every pore without discomfort to the person, leaving the skin hydrated and evenly glowing.

Our consultant is Dr. Ioannis P. Glavas, an Oculo-Facial plastic surgeon. Dr. Glavas is a member of the American Academy of Facial and Plastic Reconstructive surgery and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is an experienced, board certified surgeon with expertise in aesthetic eyelid surgery. Dr. Glavas has several publications and book chapters about surgical and minmally invasive facial rejuvenation, including the use of Restylane® and other dermal fillers and Botox® Cosmetic.
